1. Basic Overview
The 40ft High Cube container (40HQ/40HC) is an ISO-standard dry shipping container, ranking among the most widely used container types for international export and multimodal sea-land transportation. Compared with standard 40ft general purpose containers (40GP), it features an extra 1-foot height, delivering larger loading volume. It is fully compatible with truck transportation, ocean vessel shipping and railway freight, owning excellent universal adaptability.

3. Container Structure

Four Corner Castings: Standard steel corner castings are equipped at four corners of the container. They fit gantry cranes, forklifts, vessel stacking and truck fixing devices perfectly, supporting multi-layer stacking during transportation and ensuring overall structural stability without deformation.

Rear Double Doors: Sealed double rear doors are fitted with heavy-duty locking bars. The tight closure effectively blocks rainwater and seawater from entering the container and guarantees reliable waterproof performance.

4. Manufacturing Materials
Side walls and top roof are made of hot-dip galvanized corrugated steel plates, which possess superior anti-rust and anti-corrosion performance as well as strong salt spray resistance, adapting to high-humidity and high-salinity harsh marine environments. The door frame adopts thickened alloy steel for high hardness and anti-deformation performance. High-density waterproof rubber gaskets are installed at door seams to achieve full protection against water, moisture and theft.
